Applications are invited for the above post in the Department of Archaeology. The primary duties of the successful candidate will be to contribute to the Department's undergraduate teaching in British Prehistory and Archaeological Theory Candidates must have a first degree (or equivalent) in Archaeology; a PhD, completed or near completion, is desirable.

Salary will be within the range £27,183 - £35,469 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience (salary can progress to £38,757 subject to performance, subject to performance).

This post is available from 1 September 2009 and will be offered on a fixed-term contract until 18 June 2010.
