The purpose of the post is to conduct and report on multi-isotope analysis (C,N,S, Sr & O) of animal skeletal remains from Exeter as part of the AHRC-funded "Exeter - A Place in Time" research project.
You will have:
- A PhD (or equivalent postgraduate research experience) in Archaeology, Archaeological Science or other relevant discipline
- Knowledge of isotope analysis of skeletal remains and experience working in a laboratory
- Animal bone identification skills
- Excellent time-management and the ability to work to deadlines
- The ability to work independently, using your own initiative, and as part of a team
- A record of academic publications or a proven ability to write publication-quality reports
