An environmental consultancy synonymous with innovation and excellence is looking to recruit a Senior Ecologist to work with their rapidly expanding team.

The company provides technically excellent consultancy services for major corporate and governmental organizations in international and national policy development; strategic environmental planning and option appraisal; environmental impact assessment; hydrology; ecology; noise and air quality and environmental economics.

To support their technical excellence in Ecology they would like to recruit an ecologist with a proven track in the following type of projects: Ecological Impact Assessment (EcIA), Phase 1 habitat survey and NVC, protected species surveys (with appropriate licences), habitat creation and translocation, Ecological management plans

The company is always looking to expand and require an experienced professional to provide project management and technical guidance on major projects or proposals. The professional will have demonstrable success in line management accountability, mentoring staff, developing and maintaining company procedures and processes, managing and building harmonious team/people relationships.

Applications would be welcomed from candidates who are degree qualified (preferably MSc, PhD) with a relevant background in coordinating EIAs and are a member of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA).
