Geo-Environmental Project Manager

A specialist Environmental Consultancy, witnessing exciting UK expansion, is seeking to appoint a Senior Geo-Environmental Project Manager. The candidate will be expected to have a minimum of five years experience and will join our client's fast growing and energetic property sector team based in East Anglia. The Project Manager will report directly to the Divisional Leader and will work initially with the existing team to deliver high quality targeted geotechnical and contaminated land assessment services. Key clients will include major retailers, institutional funds, developers, housing developers and construction companies. The role will focus on the management of both Geotechnical and Environmental Assessments for existing clients and the development of business through new and existing contacts.

The right candidate will have a strong client focus and be able to demonstrate a commitment to key account management, preferably with reference to experience of maintaining and growing existing client relationships. The Project Manager will have financial accountability for projects and will be responsible for the detailed final review of reports to produce high quality written work to demanding deadlines. The role will include a line management responsibility for a project team and the successful candidate should have strong organisational and leadership skills, and a commitment to staff coaching and development.
