Coast and Rivers Team Leader

Salary: £30 - 45K

This leading European Specialist Consultancy wishes to develop a team of engineers and scientists to meet an increasing workload for a range of local and national clients. Relevant project work relates to all aspects of flood and coastal risk management (flooding, erosion), coastal processes studies, river hydrology and hydraulics. Typical clients include Local Authorities, Private Developers, SEPA and SNIFFER.

Responsibilities will include the following:

  • Develop a marketing and business development strategy.
  • Recruit, appoint and manage team members to deliver this strategy.
  • Provide technical direction, mentoring and line management to graduates and engineers/scientists.
  • Manage large and complex projects, delivering them to clients on time and to budget.
  • Lead the marketing of Company and Team services, including the preparation of proposals and pre-qualification documents.
  • Provide technical inputs to a range of river, estuary and coastal projects.
