Our client operates within the defence and nuclear sectors - they are looking for design engineers to pick up on outstanding project work as part of an extensive design team.

Purpose:

To generate sub-assembly and component design requirements.

To generate and maintain design records and product definition (drawings, models and specifications) and identify validation/verification plans.

Role:

To identify analysis and testing plans to investigate the performance and safety attributes of various potential design solutions.

To interact with scientists, safety specialists and manufacturing engineers to identify suitable design concepts and investigate the feasibility of design solutions.

Qualifications:

Degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline, or other qualifications and experience that would enable the eventual achievement of Chartered Engineer status.

**Due to the nature of this work applicants need to be British citizens.**
