Control and Instrumentation Engineer Berkshire, UKSalary:£39 - 47KOur client operates within the defence and nuclear sectors - they are looking for Control and Instrumentation Engineers to pick up on outstanding project work as part of an extensive engineering team. Purpose: Provide engineering design and consultancy capability within appointed discipline Ensure preparation and delivery of design solutions compliant with all applicable current legislation to agreed time, cost and quality requirements Role: Contribute to integrated safety when reviewing or producing engineering designs Use best practice in appointed discipline projects and services Ensuring that all engineering staff are competency assessed with regard to the activities that they perform Knowledge requirements: Thorough understanding of Controls and Instrumentation An understanding of Dangerous Substances and Explosive Atmosphere Regulations (DSEAR) Good understanding of the overall design process from concept to decommissioning design lifecycle Qualifications: Minimum of a Bachelor degree or the equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline Chartered Engineer or the ability to work towards Chartered status Member of a relevant Professional Institute What can we do for YOU?
