Senior Building Services Engineer - Mechanical
- Design experience in Mechanical aspects of Building
Services Engineering across a range of building types
- Experience of leading a small team of engineers would be
beneficial
- Experience of managing design projects without supervision
- Detail design development
- Site inspection and surveys
- Demonstrable work experience in an Engineering Consultancy
- Understanding of current legislation - British and European
Standards
- A strong interest and/or experience of environmentally
sustainable design would be highly advantageous
Skills Required
- Team player
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Problem solving ability
- Literate in appropriate software
- Understanding of QA systems
- Understanding of designers’ responsibilities under the CDM
regulations
- Ideally Chartered Engineer or working toward Chartered
Engineer status
- BEng or MEng (or equivalent) in relevant engineering
discipline
