Principal Electrical Engineer – Energy

Renewable Energy is a developing business area for this leading consultancy. An Electrical Engineer is required at Principal level to assist in the development of new opportunities and services associated with this key growth area.
You will be the technical expert on HV system design with key responsibilities including providing technical sales support, service development, preparation of proposals and project delivery.
Significant previous experience in all aspects of HV generation connection including negotiation with DNO, equipment specification, power system studies and power system protection is essential.
Wind farm or transmission system experience would be a distinct advantage.
The successful candidate is most likely to come from a background in wind farms or consultancy.
