CAD Modelling Engineer- Sub System Integration Electro Mechanical Specialist

A system engineering role with an initial primary function to develop and analyse 3D Electro-mechanical packaging concepts for electrical Warhead sub systems. CAD models will be developed for inclusion into Warhead concept models, as will packaging methodologies using systems engineering approaches and techniques, including extensive use of analysis and simulation to explore options in a virtual environment.

Responsibilities

• Enhancing electromechanical modelling capability for electrical subsystems
• Ensuring manufacturability of concepts
• To deliver SSI programme goals
• Understand and discharge responsibilities with regard to company security, quality, environment, safety and health standards
• Maintain awareness of Systems Engineering best practice and wider systems issues

The ideal candidate will have;

• A Diploma in electrical or mechanical engineering preferably working towards professional recognition within an appropriate Institution.
• Or working towards a degree in an appropriate engineering discipline
• Working towards professional recognition within an appropriate Institution

Applicants should have some knowledge of;

• 3D modelling concepts
• State of the art manufacturing procedures and techniques
• Material selection
• Current security, quality, environmental, safety and health legislation, practices and procedures
