Our client is a world leader in its field with over 40 years experience in the heavy engineering and is a leading supplier to the worlds most demanding markets including, construction, oil and gas, automotive and mechanical and electrical engineering.

In this new role reporting through to the Business Improvement Manager success will be achieved through the ability to build strong relationships throughout the business coupled with the capability to lead SHE functions throughout the site as well as managing waste and energy issues.

Candidates should have experience of managing Environment and Health & Safety in a large industrial setting and should be qualified to either MIEMA or CMIOSH or have a strong background in both disciplines. There will be a requirement to manage a team of Health, Safety and Environment Advisers as well as contractors on site including the fire service when required.
