Assistant Surveyor East Anglia, UKSalary: £18KThe client is a well established waste management company, operating throughout the UK providing excellent services in the waste and recycling sector. Overall Responsibility: The person will ensure effective management of the landfill void through regular void audit surveys and provision of information to the Engineering and Operational Management Teams to ensure that the business objectives are achieved Key Responsibilities: To provide the site manager with site plans and setting out points to ensure that the site is managed efficiently. The surveyor will also provide volumetric and associated calculations to determine waste density and predicted void depletion in the operational area. In addition to this the person will provide information to enable the landfill tax free zone to be managed, provide data to the environmental manager on existing and new monitoring points and provide data to Infinis, the restoration manager and the estates team. The successful surveyor will ensure alignment of planning / PPC site drawings, assist the estates department with future site development and establish settlement monitoring regimes on restored areas of landfill and provide settlement data.
