Our client is dedicated to maximising the value of renewable energy projects through innovative design and expert engineering. Work includes electrical design services, feasibility studies and commercial/regulatory advice for projects of all sizes and technologies, spanning both the public and private sector.
An Electrical Engineer with excellent client management skills is required to support in the in the provision of power systems analysis effort for the grid integration of Renewable Energy. In addition you will develop new business opportunities for a portfolio of existing and new key clients in the renewable energy market.
The successful engineer will require
- A degree in Electrical Engineering or related subject
- Experience working in an electrical engineering environment
- Experience working in a sales, business development or consultancy role
- Sound commercial and negotiation skills
- Professional presentation skills
- Numerate and have working knowledge of MS packages
- Able to focus on major priorities, well organised and able to work on own initiative
- Good report writing skills
- A strong interest/commitment to renewable energy and/or environmental issues.
This role is based just west Newcastle offering the tranquillity of country life and outdoor pursuits but whilst in short distance from the vibrant city. Salary Negotiable with excellent benefits and training opportunities
