World Leading Multi-Disciplinary Engineering Consultancy are looking to
recruit a Coastal Engineer to their well established and successful office in
the South East. This is a key hire to the division which already boasts an
impressive record in the specialised Coastal Field with Environment Agency
workload.
About the Role
You’ll bring your expertise in the coastal
environment to a series of flood management projects. You will be expected to
be able to fulfil a technical role in a range of flood management projects
ranging from strategic plans to scheme design and implementation. You will be
able to assist senior members of the team to deliver those projects. Your role
will range from this position and will see you undertaking technical project
work as part of a project team, producing designs, interpreting and developing
flooding models, developing strategies and plans for our clients.
About You
You will have a background in the physical
coastal environment from your degree or studies. You’ll have a technical
understanding of a number of issues relating to coastal developments – such as
hard and soft defences, coastal processes, coastal asset management, cliff
stabilisation, modelling and monitoring.
