Our clients ecology team has a strong profile within the company and due to demand for its services it is seeking to expand further through the recruitment of experienced ecologists. With a team of 14 permanent staff they provide a comprehensive range of services to a diverse mix of clients.

They are a dynamic group of professionals that enjoy the work they do, and seek, through a non competitive environment, to assist each other and to knowledge and experience across the team.

In addition to the provision of high quality ecology consulting services you will be expected to take a key role in business development and team management. The development of your own areas of expertise will be encouraged. They provide an environment where opportunities for personal career progression, both as a member of staff and as a professional ecologist are excellent.

Candidates will have a demonstrable track record in the successful growth and commercial development and management of an Ecology team within a consultancy context. Full membership of IEEM is essential with CEnv preferable.

You will have a strong track record of consultancy work with technical experience/expertise in Ecological Impact Assessment and preferably significant survey and mitigation experience of one or more protected species. You will also have proven experience of project, client and staff management and for the Principal role Public Inquiry experience would be advantageous.

BSc Ecology, Biological Science (or equivalent) essential; a further relevant post graduate degree is desirable; Full membership of IEEM, CEnv desirable; full driving license.
