Senior Energy Consultant

£35-45k + Benefits

To provide technical and project management input and leadership in the delivery of both commodity and consultancy energy services including;
Energy performance in Buildings certification, Building services Performance Assessment, Renewables and Low Carbon Technology assessment, Energy Efficiency Assessment and Carbon Management projects delivery.

As Senior Consultant you will be responsible for delivering technical solutions to clients in a range of energy services and other business unit projects which require technical and project management input.

RESPONSIBILTIES:

- EPC Assessments, Energy Efficiency Assessments, Building Services Performane Assessment Client presentation, Technology Asessments, Carbon Management Project delivery and delivery of associated reports for a wide range of UK and International multi- sector clients
- Supporting clients with implementation of CRC abatement initiatives, Energy efficiency programme delivery, EUETS compliance, Kyoto JI and CDM mechanism implementation, CSR energy and process performance and IPPC energy programmes of work
- Technical support on a range of issues including mechanical and electrical energy performance, energy performance in buildings including fabric performance, lighting, HVAC systems, monitoring and targeting and process energy optimisation
- Provide support for delivery of Energy Sustainability Statement as part of Environmental statement for land development planning application process

Requirements

- Educated to Degree or HNC level in a suitable scientific or engineering discipline with building services core areas covered
- Experience of industrial sites and processes, mechanical and electrical integration technologies, energy policy and legislation, large medium and micro renewable and low carbon technologies, emissions measurement and reporting, carbon management, assessment delivery, energy strategy development and report delivery, energy management systems and consultancy
- Broad understanding of UK, European and global energy and carbon reduction policy and legislative drivers. (Kyoto, EPBD, WID EUETS, IPPC, CRC, UK Sustainability Planning Supplements, ROC's, LEC's Ofgem etc)
- Project management ability - able to take ownership and delivery of a wide range of projects with ability to manage client expectations and continue to improve through project experience.
