Our client requires an Energy Efficiency Manager in
Birmingham. The Role will be to manage teams based in Oxford and Birmingham, and
will include energy project work, business development and financial management
for their Energy Solutions division.
Their Energy Solutions division operates in industry,
commerce and local government and provides a broad range of energy related
services that are designed to allow their clients to focus on core business,
meet their energy efficiency obligations and reduce costs.
The range of these services spans provision of capital
equipment and the complete management of site energy production in a
multi-million pound state-of-the-art dairy, to bill verification and payment for
retail outlets and energy efficiency advice to schools.
Responsibilities

Day-to-day team management

Project management for various jobs

Ensuring that the Business Management Systems and Quality
Assurance Systems are being complied with

Staff appraisals & development

Financial control of the team

Assisting the Divisional Director develop the business in
accordance with the business plan.
Requirements
MSc in an Energy and Environmental related field is preferred
Management experience of working with and developing teams of different
disciplines would be an advantage A keen interest in renewable energy and
sustainability is essential UK security clearance to minimum SC level. This role
will involve visits to client sites and involvement on projects where a minimum
level of SC security clearance is required. If not already cleared to SC level
therefore, candidates will need to meet certain criteria to attain this. A valid
UK driving license
