This leading environmental global consultancy is seeking
ambitious ecologists to join a team based in St Ives. The right candidate will
be experienced and will share a focused philosophy of delivering high quality
professional consultancy services. All applicants should have at least relevant
professional experience, a degree in an appropriate ecology or environmental
science discipline, an understanding of applying ecological principles, the
ability to write clearly and concisely, and be able to communicate effectively.
Specifically they looking for a Non Native Species
Ecologist:
An ecologist with experience of non-native species, invasive
species in particular with:
-
A good knowledge of Japanese Knotweed and the methods for
its control
-
Experience in preparing Japanese Knotweed management
strategies
-
Experience of working with contractors on site during
construction projects
-
An interest in other invasive species
-
Experience of project management desirable
Competency with a range of standard computer software is
essential for this position and experience of GIS is also desirable. A full
driving licence is necessary for this position.
Salary and grade will be commensurate with experience and
qualifications.
24 days holiday per year. Group personal pension scheme after
