An international environmental consultancy, are currently seeking to recruit have an opportunity for an assistant consultant, with some relevant environmental consultancy experience or, alternatively, equivalent experience working as an environmental advisor/manager in industry. Although preparing IPPC applications is a core skill requirements, candidates who can demonstrate additional skills in any of the areas of energy management/ emissions trading, waste management, corporate reporting or corporate social responsibility, will have an advantage.

The ideal applicant will be a good team worker with:

• The capability to deliver successful projects in EMS/IPPC and/or related areas;

• excellent communication and presentation skills;

• a good general knowledge of UK environmental legislation;

• commitment to the hard work that success in consultancy requires; and

• a desire for an exciting challenge with the potential for career development.

Candidates preferably should be educated to Masters degree level and hold membership of a relevant professional institution. There is an excellent salary and benefits package, which is commensurate with experience.
