Chartered Surveyor (Minerals / Rural / GP)

Our client is a multi-disciplinary consultancy specialising in environmental work. They currently employ Chartered Surveyors, Town planners, geologists, ecologists & contaminated land specialists. Clients range from private individuals, to large landowners, international plc’s and Government agencies. Work areas include: development, management, minerals, waste planning and permitting, preparation and negotiation of agreements, EIA,

A Chartered Surveyor is required to work from the Lincoln office. Your duties will include the management and delivery of professional services in the areas of property management, planning applications, project management, valuation, rating, negotiation of commercial agreements.

Requirements

Educated to degree level; MRICS or equivalent qualification preferred. Good IT & numeracy skills are required along with a high standard of written English. Current valid driving licence is required as projects are undertaken throughout the UK. The ability to manage and develop staff essential. Candidates should ideally have post APC experience; a keen interest in the environment, and experience in the areas of planning / minerals or rural practice.

You will be hard working and self-motivated, good organisational abilities and able to manage multiple projects and ability to work to tight deadlines. A good sense of humour and interpersonal skills are essential. Team working in a multi-disciplinary environment is essential, and initiative is encouraged.
