Typically the workload involves desk assessments and the
preparation of bespoke chapters for Environmental Impact Assessments for
proposed new developments, and commercial/residential property construction
projects. The team also commissions and manages intrusive archaeological
investigations.
As part of their continuing growth they ar seeking to appoint
a Principal Archaeologist. You will therefore need to have a track record in
project delivery and management with respect to a diverse range of projects. The
ability to inspire and motivate people and be able to develop new business
opportunities will be important skills, and although direct experience of staff
management is not necessarily required, it would be an advantage. You will also
need to have excellent communication and negotiation skills and be enthusiastic
about the prospect of working in a multi-disciplinary environment that provides
an excellent opportunity for technical development and career progression. You
are likely to have solid experience with a track record of success in the public
or private sectors.
