HSE Engineer

For one of our clients, a leading global provider of engineering and construction services, technology products and integrated solutions, we are seeking HSEQ Advisor.

Position Objective:

Be a driving force for line management in the work of continuous improvement so that:

  • HSE & Q policies are well implemented in all work processes
  • The work processes are identified and works effectively
  • The work processes are supported by established procedures, routines and tools and communicated to all relevant personnel.

Responsibilities and Assignments:

Personal

  • Familiarize with and work according to AWS HSEQ policies.
  • Familiarize with and work according corporation's core values.
  • Focus on HSE in all personal activities 24/7.

Continuous Improvement

  • Promote focus on HSEQ and continuous improvement work as preventive actions, to support the HSEQ Policies and goals.
  • Promote awareness creating activity, competence development and training in HSEQ.
  • Monitor and follow-up in connection with audits results (Synergies, Customer satisfaction, People Survey, audits performed by customer and other).

Participate in:

  • Safety inspections
  • Customer initiated programs
  • Internal improvement projects
  • Assist Operation Management and Asset Management with HSEQ activities
  • Planning of HSEQ activities
  • MOR measurements and reporting
  • WCI measurements and reporting
  • Follow-up of Environmental measurements and reporting
  • Incident evaluation, classification and follow-up

Perform:

  • Internal inspections
  • Verifications
  • Audits
  • Trend analysis
  • Synergi training
  • HSEQ Introduction to new employees

Risk handling

  • Participate in risk mitigation activities.
  • Facilitate Risk Assessments on request

Incident handling

  • Participate in investigations subsequent to incidents in connection with quality or safety
  • Follow-up reported incidents
