Job Description
My client is looking for someone to join their rail team and liase between Councils, County, Boro' and District and Network Rail to ensure compliance with legislation regarding TPO's SSSI's etc. They will be required to inspect and determine where trees are considered a hazard or potential hazard to the rail, or could create a leaf fall and adhesion problem. Having done so they will be able to persuade the council to empower my client to create a safe rail environment, by removing/changing the hazard within the bounds of the law
Person Specification
The successful candidate would be a commercially minded person, with solid experience, or looking for an early placement after university.
They will be required to have good communication skills and a robust personality to work in this environment. You will need to be able to take a Personal Track Safety competence and an Individual Working Alone competence.
