My client is one of the UK's leading Safety and Environmental
Consultancies. Due to an increased demand for their services in Safety and
Environmental Engineering and Management, they are looking for a Senior
Environmental Consultant to support their assignments in the UK and overseas
and to provide for succession in the business.
Their recent successes in the development of the Environmental Management
Business means that they are now looking for enthusiastic environmentalists
who are keen to establish their career to take leading technical roles in a
small, but rapidly growing team, and to have a genuine influence on the
future development of this business sector.
They can offer you the opportunity to work on a variety of challenging
and high profile assignments, principally in the Defence, Maritime, Energy
and Aerospace Sectors. They develop and deliver innovative, proportionate,
and cost-effective approaches to organisations wishing to assess and assure
the Safety and Environmental implications of their complex systems and
processes. As a Company, they are forward thinking, supportive of innovation
and focused on the development of our people as well as our organisation.
The successful candidate will have substantial experience in a senior
environmental role in an engineering or consultancy environment with:
- Relevant Degree
- Consultancy Experience
- A good understanding of EIA issues and legislation;
- An appreciation of the application of EMS and Life Cycle Assessment;
- A good understanding of Sustainability Issues and legislation, and the
ability to identify effective Environmental Management Systems
- Well developed business development and client management skills
Successful candidates will have a high level of motivation and a drive
to achieve success, with a track record of achievement and a desire to build
a career within a strong and independent business and should be:
- Enthusiastic and self motivated
- Able to offer a practical approach to problems
- Able to work alone or as part of a team
- Able to communicate at all levels in an organisation
This position is based in their Bath office.
