Senior Consultant Contaminated Land

Our client a leading UK consultancy , are looking for an experienced and motivated individual who is self-sufficient and can manage contaminated land projects successfully. The role has recently come about simply due to increased immediate workload and future project pipeline. This position will appeal to people who enjoy multi-tasking on several projects at the same time. Activities will include the organisation and management of ground investigation, risk assessment and remediation projects, tasking of less experienced staff and ensuring the quality of deliverables. The role involves project management responsibilities and liaison with clients and regulators, therefore negotiation skills and the ability to communicate complex technical information are essential. They are particularly interested in all-rounders who can manage projects from inception to completion.

This role requires the applicant to have extensive experience in contaminated land project management in order to undertake this role successfully. Ideally the successful candidate will have a sound knowledge of the CL market in Scotland and experience of working with Scottish clients. Applications will also be considered from people with more experience for appointment at Principal level.
