My client is looking to recruit a Senior GeoModeller (Reservoir Geologist) for their offices in Stavanger, Norway. Having at least 10 years experience within the industry, including time spent with an oil and gas operating company, you will be comfortable with building static reservoir models. You will also have an excellent understanding of geological description and modelling, petrophysical evaluation from well logs & reservoir core, seismic interpretation, exploration petroleum systems, reservoir management and PIIP volumetric estimations

You will be required to work on all data types and processes utilised within the Petroleum Reservoir field, which will include analysis, modelling and interpretation. You will also provide administrative support to the Manager of the group in the preparation and delivery of major promotional projects, assist in the production and submission of commercial work submissions in the form of tenders and submissions.

The successful candidate will have experience with relevant industry software, including PETREL / RMS / GoCAD / JewelSuite / EarthVision, and significant knowledge of oil & gas production and development geological studies focusing on carbonate reservoirs and fracture modelling, along with international upstream petroleum reserves evaluations.

As a minimum level of qualification, you will need to hold a BSc degree in Geosciences, preferably along with an MSc or PhD in Petroleum Geosciences.
