Safety Consultants

My client is looking for experienced and
enthusiastic Safety Consultants to join thier dynamic team. This exciting
opportunity offers you the chance to utilise your technical leadership skills
to make a contribution to a number of safety projects.
You will provide project management and
technical contribution to safety case development of major defence, aerospace,
rail and nuclear projects undertaken by the safety team.
You will have knowledge of the following:
- Defence Standard 00-56
- MoD POSMS
- JSP 430,454,520,375,815, 553 and 518
- Yellow book
You will be conversant in the conduct of
most of the following disciplines:
- Safety Management System Development and
Safety Management planning
- Safety Case Development
- Independent Safety Audit
- HAZOP/SWIFT
- Fault Tree Analysis (FTA)/Event Tree
Analysis (ETA)
- Failure Modes and Effects (Criticality)
Analysis (FMECA)
- Goal Structuring Notation (GSN)
A good degree in a related field is necessary.
Ideally you will have previous experience of
working in a consultancy environment (within the defence/nuclear/rail or
energy sectors).
You will also have experience of leading and
directing safety consultancy projects and tenders.
