Under general direction of senior scientists, undertake research into the development and evaluation of ensemble prediction systems within the Australian Community Climate and Earth Systems Simulator (ACCESS) numerical assimilation and prediction systems. 2 year opportunity

Under general direction of senior scientists in the Data Assimilation Team and CAWCR undertake research on extensions to the ACCESS assimilation systems. This research will focus on the use and assimilation of remotely sensed microwave measurements from current and scheduled meteorological satellites.

Early career researchers with appropriate meteorological and/or physics knowledge and training are encouraged to apply for this position.
