Meteorologist - Wind Energy Forecasting - Bristol, UKGarrad Hassan is looking to recruit into its GH Forecaster team. The group offers wind energy forecasting services to wind farm owners and developers, utilities and electrical grid operators. Our forecasts help wind energy to be effectively and efficiently integrated into electrical grids around the world, and are essential for maximising wind farm revenue through day-ahead and intra-day trading. GH is looking to expand the team to strengthen our weather modelling capabilities and meet increasing market demand. This role will focus on working with the existing team to expand and develop the meteorological modelling aspects of Garrad Hassan's wind energy forecasting service, GH Forecaster. In addition the candidate will investigate the application of customised NWP (Numerical Weather Predictions) for the purposes of wind energy forecasting.
