You will have a key role in working with the Principal Planner on finalising and delivering the council's Climate Change Strategy. Working corporately across various service units within the council on a range of climate change related initiatives, you will monitor our carbon baseline and oversee the implementation of initiatives within our Carbon Management Plan. This will also include working on our aims to reduce the West Lothian area ecological and carbon footprints. You should have a degree in Environmental Science and a detailed knowledge of the climate change/carbon management/footprinting issues affecting local authorities and their communities and partners.
