You will work with communities and partners to bring about a reduction in CO₂ emissions and implement adaptation measurers in line with National Indicators for Local Authorities. To do this, you'll need to use your interpersonal and communication skills to engage with the community and partners to achieve changes which will enable adaptation and mitigation to climate change.

Educated to degree level in a relevant subject, such as Environmental Management or with an equivalent qualification/experience, you will have previous experience of working in this field and of project/event management.

Building credible working relationships and developing partnership working will be essential in this role, as is the ability to look at the bigger picture and think creatively to establish solutions and build support for initiatives. Due to the nature of this role, the successful applicant will be subject to a Criminal Records Bureau check.
