Data Scientist

Our data science capability is currently an area of growth for our business. We are looking for highly-motivated data scientists to help develop our GIS analytics technologies and platform.


The ideal candidate for this role will have one or more of the following skills:

  • Experience with Data Science and Big Data technologies, such as machine learning
  • Experience with Python-based software development, and an appreciation of modern software development practices
  • Knowledge of GIS, Earth Observation or Remote Sensing techniques
  • Experience with large-scale image analysis and pattern recognition

The job will be based in the UK in our Skipton (North Yorkshire) office at the Broughton Hall Estate. It is a scenic rural location on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales, so this role would particularly suit somebody looking for a relaxed lifestyle in a beautiful environment. Skipton and the surrounding areas also offer a number of outstanding schools, making the location ideal for families.
