About JBA Risk Management

We are better known amongst our clients as The Flood People. We help the insurance, reinsurance and property industries understand flood risk. The role:

We have an ambitious multi-year plan to revolutionise how we generate and deliver our data to clients. As a full stack web developer, you'll join a growing team of software developers as we execute our web-based data delivery strategy. • You'll be bright, inquisitive, quick to learn and interested in what we do!
  • You'll be able to demonstrate the following essential attributes:
  • You enjoy collaborating and being part of a team
  • You are flexible and happy to be involved in a wide range of software development activities, including speaking to users, designing / writing / testing code and writing documentation
  • You take pride in the quality of your work
  • You don't shy away from challenges and are driven to create high quality, production-ready software

If you have experience or interests in one or more of the following technologies, we would be keen to hear from you:

  • Front-end development
  • API design and development
  • Continuous integration and deployment
  • Containerisation strategies
  • Serverless cloud computing
  • Career Development and Benefits

Our comprehensive benefits package includes pension, life insurance, medical assistance, subsidised income protection, occupational maternity, paternity and adoptive leave scheme, buy/sell annual leave scheme and professional memberships.
