Software Engineer - Python
JBA Risk Management is the leading global provider of flood data products and has recently delivered the world's first global-coverage flood catastrophe model. Our models are known for their speed, resolution, configurability, and scientific robustness.
Oasis Loss Modelling Framework (Oasis) is the global leader in open-source catastrophe modelling. They are working to deliver a single, high-performance platform offering multiple models/views of risk from a variety of sources, promoting innovation and transparency.
JBA modelling enables people ranging from homeowners in the UK to farmers in India to obtain flood insurance, protecting their lives and livelihoods in doing so. Oasis is the platform in which these models are made accessible to their users. JBA and Oasis have worked closely together for more than a decade, and we seek to strengthen our technical as well as our strategic relationship. The opportunities for challenging and rewarding work in implementing JBA models within the Oasis platform continue to grow, alongside our shared modelling ambitions.
Are you bright, inquisitive, and keen to push the boundaries in delivering cutting edge technology?
Would you like to be a key element in the JBA-Oasis partnership, working as a Python Developer embedded within the Oasis product team, striving to ensure JBA models can be presented seamlessly via the Oasis framework? If so, come and work with us!
