We have worked closely with this consultancy for a number of years and can say without correction that the staff are some of the friendliest people you could hope to meet. Even though the consultancy is now one of the largest in the UK it has not lost that small team feel, which undoubtedly is the key to their success.

They are now looking for a Senior Wind Engineer who can provide technical expertise on a wide range of wind energy projects. You will provide outstanding consultancy services to their clients in the growing wind energy sector. This consultancy is experiencing a dramatic period of growth, which means, for you, there couldn’t be a more exciting time to join us and make your mark.

In order to be considered for this highly rewarding role you will need to have:

• Previous experience working in the wind industry from feasibility though to development

• Experience of relevant modelling software

• Working knowledge of wind resources and energy yield analysis

• Knowledge of due diligence (contract reviews, construction monitoring and/or financial assessment)

• Experience of taking projects though planning and public consultation process

• Technical degree and/or Masters equivalent

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills

• The ability to work to deadlines

• Chartered Engineer status highly desirable
