The Company

An independent E&P organisation based in open plan offices in central London, they have operations globally. They are an excellent company to work for and have a strong, pragmatic management team. They are actively investing in new exploration licences and th ey already have a inventory of viable drillable prospects going forward.
They give excellent share incentives to their people and there is a real prospect for a big upside on their current share price.

The Role

From a central London base you will be reporting to the Exploration Director in your role. As the Lead Explorationist you will play an important part in the acquisition, evaluation & analysis of company licences. The main areas where your role will focus on is Africa and the Middle East and will involve technical studies as well as work program recommendations and the identification of new opportunities. They require a person that is happy working within a small company culture, and is happy being relied upon to play a key role in driving the company efforts forward.

Experience Required

You should already have significant international exploration experience, and have a strong geoscience background. You will have been in the industry for circa 15 years. You should have experience from a variety of areas across the globe and not just have worked on one particular geographical area in your career. You must also be prepared to travel to some politically sensitive countries.
