A leading North Sea operator they have a considerable asset base in the North Sea and also a network of international offices. The Aberdeen office requires a Production Engineer. This is a high profile and challenging role and provides a key link between onshore and offshore operations teams
The Role
:
As an experienced Production Engineer you will be carrying out a broad range of tasks including:
- Conceptual to detailed field, well and completion option selection and design and field development planning.
- Flow modelling, nodal analysis and optimisation for reservoir near-bore and lower completion behaviour, single well and integrated asset networks.
- Artificial lift design, analysis and optimisation.
- Well integrity management; and well and production RAM modelling.
- Downhole, subsea and surface data system feasibility definition, design and management.
- Production monitoring, analysis and optimisation strategies.
- Asset evaluation and due diligence.
You:
The appointed individual will be an experienced Production / Petroleum Engineer, holding a degree in a science or engineering discipline. You must have several years experience in a similar role, gained either from an operator or in a consultancy.
Strong analytical, technical and communication skills are all pre-requisites, as is a familiarity with engineering software applications. You must demonstrate that ability to work as an integral member of a highly technical team, and have excellent presentation skills.
