The Company

A leading Oil service company with offices around the globe, they have operations in many of the worlds major oilfields. They now require a number of new members of staff to join their dynamic team.

The Role

You will work in a multi-disciplinary team. Your prime responsibility will be to provide p etrophysical support to the asset teams. The position will involve the full life cycle; exploration, appraisal, development, and production surveillance.
You will be involved in the following areas;
- Deriving rock & fluid properties from log data, calibration of log and core data and prediction of production performance
- Performing rock physics, rock property trend analysis, seismic calibration, and AVO analysis


Experience Required

-You must have a good degree and ideally a Masters degree in an appropriate subject.
- You must have previous Operational experience with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience ideally gained within an operator however strong service company candidates would also be considered.
-Strong skills in challenging formation evaluation and reservoir characterisation
-Experience in core data acquisition, conventional & special core analysis
- Experience in rock mechanics for hydraulic fracture and drilling design
- Software experience (Powerlog, RokDoc, PTA, and RTA)
