The Company

An international Oil and Gas company with significant interests in the North Sea, they are engaged in the production of both natural gas and crude oil. They have in addition sizable downstream operations, including a strong retail division. They and are now looking for talented people to work within the Aberdeen team.

The Role

A Reservoir Engineer is required to assist asset teams in the ongoing identification and evaluation of opportunities in and around their North Sea assets by applying reservoir simulation expertise. You will utilise your reservoir simulation expertise to construct models that optimise field development and propose reservoir management strategies
In addition you will also Assist in developing and maintaining reserve estimates for the assets and assist in developing production and capital forecasts for the budget cycles.

Skills Required

You must have several years previous experience as a reservoir engineer, concentrating on reservoir simulation with a good understanding of modelling. You should also have an ability to run dynamic models for forecasting as well as having a good understanding of using the Eclipse reservoir simulator.
