Company

This is an independent Oil and Gas company focused on exploration and production on both sides of the North Sea. They are currently looking to expand their office in Stavanger as a couple of new projects have recently been given the green light. This company has a balanced portfolio of operated and non operated assets in the North Sea. They have many licences in the area and are looking forward to the next licensing round where they are looking to acquire even more acreage in the North Sea.

Role

This role is for a Senior Reservoir Engineer to join the team in Stavanger to work on appraisal, production and development assets. You will play a very important role in growing this companies reputation in the area and will work alongside a team of Geoscientists on a number of very exciting projects. You will conduct standard Reservoir Engineering tasks such as reservoir modelling, production forecasting, reservoir estimates, costings and development plans. You will also play a very important role in the next licence round applications and you will be asked to represent the company at meetings over the coming months.

Skills and Experience

The ideal Senior Reservoir Engineer will have at least 10 years experience of the upstream Oil and Gas industry. You should have a very good technical background and be at least degree qualified, ideally with a Msc qualification. You should be a very good team player and be familiar with a number of various software applications. The ideal candidate should be fluent in English and be able to communicate in Norwegian.
