This company is an independent E&P company which has the main focus of its business on the Middle East and Africa. The company has major development plans in place and are looking to add significant numbers to their team in London. Their current operations are progressing well and 2009 is seen as a very important year for the company.

Role

This company are looking for a Senior Geoscientist to be based in London and to join a team that is currently working on 8 projects in the Middle East and Africa. The main focus of the role will be seismic interpretation and using the data available to identify drill able prospects. Data already used has resulted in two locations being selected for drilling, which has since commenced in the last couple of months. You will play a very important part of this company's future and you will be joining a team that comprises a mixture of very technical experienced staff and at least 3 junior members.

Skills and Experience

The ideal Geoscientist for this role will need to have at least 5 years of post graduate experience and ideally this experience will come from working on projects in the Middle East and Africa. You will need to be degree qualified and be familiar with various interpretation software such as the Kingdom suite.
