This company is a small to mid-sized independent oil and gas operator and producer with activities in the North Sea, Europe, Africa and Canada. The company has a healthy asset portfolio and over the next few years they are keen to grow the company into one of the biggest within the industry. By joining this company you have the chance to work on some very exciting projects and to work alongside some of the most technically minded staff in the business. This company has a very flat structure and values the contribution of its staff. They have recently awarded all staff a number of share options as a thanks for putting the company back on track over the last 18 months.

Role

This role is for a Senior Geophysicist to join the company to work on a mixture of North Sea and African operated and non operated assets over the next few years. As the company expands more projects will become available, leading to exciting career development. This role will cover exploration, development and appraisal work. This company has a number of major projects underway and are looking to add some technical expertise to the team.

Skills and Experience

The Senior Geophysicist for this role should have a minimum of 7 years post graduate industry experience. You should be familiar with Kingdom and Petrel software as these will be the main software programs used in this role along with Landmark. You should have good seismic interpretation skills, along with some exposure to either the North Sea or North/West Africa. Your experience can come from either an operating or consultancy background.
