One of the fastest growing companies in Aberdeen is looking for a Senior Reservoir Engineer to complete the team in Aberdeen. This company has been in business for many years and over the last 12 months has made massive inroads into becoming one of the major worldwide players in the oil and gas industry. This company has many worldwide offices and have many projects that are now starting. Their main focus in on the North Sea and Middle East. By joining this company you open yourself up to the chance of working with some of the best technically minded people in the business and also the chance to have a very secure career over the next few years. Currently this company has 2 major contracts with Oil operators in the North Sea and you will begin you career with them on these projects.

Role

This role is for a Senior Reservoir Engineer to join the team in Aberdeen to work on a number of excellent projects from the North Sea and moving forward the Middle East. This role will cover many aspects of the standard Reservoir Engineer role and will include work on the following:

Reservoir Characterisation
Heavy oil appraisal and development
Enhanced oil recovery
Tight gas appraisal and development
Carbonate reservoirs

Skills and Experience

The ideal Senior Reservoir Engineer for this role should have a minimum of 10 years of industry experience with active working experience coming from the North Sea or the Middle East. This role will require you to work independently and in various teams. Knowledge on a number of software packages would be useful experience to have. The role will involve some international travel.
