The Company

A leading producer that has assets spanning the globe. They are continuing to expand are are planning to acquire several new licences in North Sea during the next round.
They have several other offices internationally and are currently producing or have exploration licences in Asia, Africa, Russia a nd Europe.

The Role


They seek and experienced Geophysicist to undertake seismic interpretation of existing licences as well as unlicensed areas of the UKCS. You will report to the exploration licence manager. You will be be involved with evaluating new ventures as well as farm-out evaluation work. You will be responsible for prospect identification and evaluating those prospects as well as presenting your evaluations to the management team as well as the company's partners. In time there may also be some leadership/mentoring required in this position.

Experience Required.

The company require an experienced Geophysicist with a minimum of 8 years experience as a geophysicist, ideally more. You should have excellent seismic data acquisition and processing skills as well as having used an appropriate software package, ideally the Kingdom suite. In addition you must have some previous North Sea experience.
