Teaching Fellow
Animal Population Ecology and Animal Behaviour
The School of Biological Sciences is seeking to appoint a Teaching Fellow in Animal Population Ecology and Animal Behaviour on a fixed term basis for 24 months. Committed to teaching various aspects of ecology, including population dynamics and behavioural ecology at the undergraduate and MSc level you should have some experience in communicating the theory behind population dynamics, life histories, and trophic interactions. You will be part of a team delivering courses and will supervise honours project. You will have a PhD in an appropriate area and prior experience in undergraduate teaching will be advantageous. You will be expected to contribute to teaching at undergraduate and MSc levels across a range of courses, including a residential ecological field course.
Salary will be at the appropriate point on the Grade 6 scale (£27,857 - £33,262 per annum), with placement according to qualifications and experience.
