Candidates must have a Ph.D. in either Ecology with a strong background in Mathematics or a Ph.D. in Mathematics with a strong background in Ecology, or have doctoral level training in related fields. Evaluation of candidates also will be based on record of success in acquiring grant funding, peer reviewed publications, the candidate's ability to communicate well, her/his supervisory skills, and the ability and desire to work both collaboratively and independently.
