PhD Fellowships in Ecological Restoration at SUNY Buffalo

The State University of New York at Buffalo (UB) is seeking applicants for doctoral study in Ecological Restoration. The Ecosystem Restoration through Interdisciplinary Exchange (ERIE) Program is a National Science Foundation IGERT traineeship that combines interdisciplinary academic training in environmental sciences, engineering, and policy with focused research on ecological restoration linked to nationally-recognized Great Lakes watershed and stream restoration efforts in western New York State.

The traineeship provides tuition, a generous stipend, a research allowance for two years of Ph.D. graduate work (followed by departmental assistantship support), and opportunities for internships with regional and Canadian partners.

Applications through one of eight participating academic departmental programs at UB are due February 1 for admission the following fall semester. For program and application information, please visit www.erie.buffalo.edu or contact Dr. David Blersch, ERIE Program Director, at igert-erie at buffalo dot edu (U.S. citizens and permanent residents only)."
