Assistant Professor - Landscape Ecology



The Department of Geography invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Landscape Ecology as part of a series of strategic hires in the department. Specific research and teaching specializations are open, but expertise in the use of remote sensing to analyze landscape change and environmental processes is required. In addition to core strength in landscape ecology, ability to address associated issues such as vulnerability to climate change, coupled interactions between human and physical systems, or urban landscape dynamics would be advantageous. Teaching duties will include both undergraduate and graduate courses. Applicants should have or expect to receive the doctoral degree by August 2014. Applications received by November 15, 2013 are guaranteed full consideration. The position will remain open until filled.
