School of Environmental SciencesLecturer in Marine Ecosystem ServicesRef ATR760£35,858 to £41,545 per annumThis joint appointment is part of a strategic alliance between the University and the Centre for Environment, Fisheries and Aquaculture Sciences (Cefas), a government research and consultancy agency responsible for all aspects of the management of the marine environment. The Lecturer will develop their own research programme on services provided by marine ecosystems, facilitate research interactions between the two organisations and contribute to teaching in ecosystem services, marine science and management. They will be employed by the 5** School of Environmental Sciences at UEA, but will spend some time working at Cefas laboratories in Lowestoft and Weymouth. You must have a PhD or equivalent experience relevant to the study of marine ecosystem services and have demonstrated an ability to communicate and collaborate with researchers from other disciplinary backgrounds.
