Programme Officer – Drylands Reporting
Ecosystem Assessment Programme



Full time post, two years duration
Salary range £20,106 - £36,951 per annum

Required to manage the delivery of a Full-Sized Project of the Global Environment Facility (GEF) on national reporting to the UN Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD).

This enthusiastic, experienced project manager will be responsible for overall project coordination with a range of international stakeholders to ensure adequate project implementation. They will report to the Project Steering Committee and liaise with the Technical Advisory Group guiding the project. The successful applicant will also be expected to support the delivery and expansion of UNEP-WCMC’s wider work on drylands and livelihoods, and to represent UNEP-WCMC and the EAP at relevant conferences, workshops and other specialist meetings both in the UK and internationally.

The salary is negotiable within the Centre’s existing bands.
